My name is Sofia, and I am Shamila's aunt. She is a 10-year-old girl, full of dreams and with a smile that once lit up any room. We live in a small community, where life is simple but full of challenges. Shamila has always been a vibrant child, she loved to draw and play outdoors, but today, her reality is one of unimaginable suffering.

A few months ago, a devastating accident resulted in 80% skin loss. Since then, Shamila's life has turned into a constant battle against pain. Every movement, every touch, is agony. The nights are long and filled with crying, and the days are spent in a state of exhaustion and despair. Seeing her suffer like this, without being able to do much, is the greatest pain a family can feel.

The doctors were clear: Shamila's pain is so intense that it threatens her very survival. She needs immediate pain medication, not just to alleviate her suffering, but to give her body a chance to begin to recover. Without these medications, her small body can no longer cope.
